Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with Aric

Abouttheateam

Tuesday morning dad woke me up. I showered and got dressed. I ate leftover pizza for breakfast. Kelly picked me up at 8 am. We made a quick stop at Starbucks. The cashier at the window offered me a sticker. How cool! I stuck it to the back of my iPad. Today is my volunteer job at New Hope ministry. Lots of work today. Then we went to lunch. I spent the afternoon playing basketball at the community center. I had the gym all to myself. All of a sudden, kids kept showing up in the gym. There was a lot of kids. They were running everywhere. This makes someone like me very anxious and I don’t know what to do. It’s a big reason why I need support. Kelly ran over to me. She immediately asked me if I wanted to leave. I said “yes.” When we were walking out, Kelly asked me if I wanted to finish playing basketball on the outside court. What a great idea! I said “yes.” We went outside and I finished my normal routine. Kelly dropped me off at 3:30 pm. We went to Primanti Bros. for dinner. We had salad and pizza. Then it was “dessert at home”. I ate 2 Costco chocolate chip cookies and milk. I spent the evening printing pictures on my computer and creating a collage.

Wednesday morning, dad woke me up. I showered and got dressed for work. There were lots of bins full of dishes. Kelly said I did a great job at work today. For lunch, we went to Panera. I ate my usual grilled cheese. Then we went to Target to get a fake carving pumpkin. I can carve it, but I smash it! We went to the park beside the firehouse. That’s where I carved the pumpkin. Then we went to the firehouse. I got out of the car and went straight to the door. I used my ID to get inside. The door shut behind me and Kelly was locked out. She had to walk around to the front. The picture of my face on the glass window is me looking at Kelly standing outside. I thought it was pretty funny. I sat in my favorite fire truck. While we were there, a fire call came through for a structure fire. I watched the 2 engines go out. They didn’t take my favorite truck. All of us firemen are getting jackets. I had to try them on to find the size that fits me best. I chose to have just my last name put on my jacket. I am excited and can’t wait to get my new jacket. Kelly dropped me off at 3:30 pm. I stayed in the rest of the night. I ate leftover pizza for dinner. I was printing pictures on my computer and my computer stopped working. I yelled “dad.” He responded with “what?” I said “I’m afraid my computer is totally down for the count.” It took dad about 30 minutes to fix it. Then I got back to printing pictures. Eventyually, I went to bed.

Thursday morning, dad woke me up and I got ready for work. Kelly picked me up at 7:45 am and we were off to the campground. One of the two dishwashers was broken. This means I have to alter my routine. I do not like altering my routine! Kelly could tell I was irritated. My high-pitched voice let her know I wasn’t happy. Kelly walked me outside to cool off, get some fresh air, and talk. Kelly gave me a pep talk. She told me how proud she was of me for changing my routine. That I am a great worker and the machine will get fixed. Then I went back to work. I even sang some songs with Kelly while I worked. We went to Hershey’s Chocolate World. I was standing in front of a picture of Milton Hershey. Kelly asked me if I knew who the man was. I thought for a second and said “dad.” Haha. I had no idea who that was. We went over to the community center to play some basketball. Kelly suggested I use the outside court. It’s a beautiful sunny day. So, outside it is! Kelly dropped me off around 3:30 pm. We went to Primanti Bros. for buy one pizza get one free night. I wanted dessert at home. At home, I ate 2 Costco chocolate cjhip cookies and a cup of milk. This weekend is our last weekend of camping for the season. Should be fun. Now you know!
